Cheesy Garlic Bread
Don’t you dare buy frozen garlic bread! It’s incredibly easy to prepare a gourmet garlic bread at home; this recipe takes it to the next level by adding fresh rosemary and salty Il Villaggio Parmigiano-Reggiano. Bread is often used to mop up the leftover sauce on your plate, but you’ll want to eat this zesty bread on its own before and during your meal!
Ingredients
- 1 loaf ciabatta bread, sliced horizontally
- 6 cloves of garlic, chopped
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ cup Il Villaggio Parmigiano-Reggiano, grated
- ¼ cup Il Villaggio Pecorino Romano, grated
- 2 Tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions
- Place garlic in food processer and processes until minced. Add the salt, pepper, and rosemary and pulse a couple times until everything is blended together.
- In a medium saucepan, heat oil and then add garlic mixture. Immediately remove pan from the heat once garlic mixture has been added.
- Spread garlic mixture on bread. Top with blend of parmigiano-reggiano and pecorino romano cheeses.
- Wrap bread in tin foil and bake for 10-15 minutes on 350F until cheese has melted.
