Prosciutto Wrapped, Gorgonzola Stuffed Dates In A Honey-Balsamic Drizzle
Ingredients
- 20 whole pitted dates
- 15 slices prosciutto, sliced lengthwise
- 4 ounces Il Villaggio Gorgonzola Dolce
- 20 toothpicks
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cut one side of the dates and stuff with Gorgonzola cheese.
- Wrap each date in a strip of prosciutto and skewer with a toothpick.
- Place on an oven-safe wire rack inside a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- In a small saucepan, mix vinegar, honey, salt and pepper.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat and let bubble while whisking till the liquids reduce by 75 percent – about 10 minutes
- Drizzle on serving platter and place prosciutto-wrapped dates on top. Server any extra honey-balsamic on the side.
